How This Is Calculated
- Hours today = monthly volume × minutes each ÷ 60.
- Hours with the product = monthly volume × still reviewed ÷ 100 × minutes each ÷ 60.
- Monthly saving = (hours today − hours with the product) × cost per hour, and the annual saving is the monthly saving × 12.
- Cost of errors today = errors per month × cost per error: a cost you carry today, not a saving.

What is SDS authoring?
It turns a supplier's safety data sheet into one issued under your company's name. The new sheet keeps the hazard data and puts you on it as the supplier of record.
Does it follow the US and Canadian rules?
Each sheet follows the format required where it is sent, with sixteen sections in a fixed order. Canadian sheets are drafted in both official languages, and the rules in force from December 2025 are applied.
What happens when my supplier updates a sheet?
The new sheet is compared with the one you issued. You see what changed, and you re-issue your sheet when you approve the update.
How much does SDS authoring cost?
